Television Shows: Shindig Show 1964, and New Musical Express 1965

1.  Shindig! Show:  A portion of one of The Beatles live concerts in the 1964, London's Shindig! Show, including three well known tracks; Kansas City, I'm A Loser and Boys.

     The Beatles were at the top of the bill on the show; the other acts were Sandie Shaw, PJ Proby, The Karl Denver Trio, Tommy Quickly, Sounds Incorporated, and Lyn Cornell. In addition to their performance, The Beatles also appeared in the show's finale with the Karl Denver Trio.

     The British edition of Shindig! was first broadcast in the US by ABC , on 7 October 1964, but was never shown in Britain.

2.  New Musical Express:  The Beatles topped the bill at the 1964-65 New Musical Express Annual Poll-Winners' All-Star Concert. It was the third consecutive year they appeared at the event, held at the Empire Pool, in Wembley, London.

     They performed five songs before 10,000 people: I Feel Fine, She's A Woman, Baby's In Black, Ticket To Ride, and Long Tall Sally.  The Beatles' set was broadcast on television in the United Kingdom on April 18 1965.
